The software development company Apptastic is the first Surinamese company to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 quality certification for developing custom software that supports business process redesign and automation. In the past 10 months, the company was busy with this certification process, where as a team they implemented numerous changes regarding the ISO standard.
From within Apptastic’s core value "Be Innovative: stepping up our game!", the motivation to professionalize even more was the main inspiration to make the step towards this certification. This means that the business processes are checked by an independent international body. “We were forced to adjust our business processes,” said Rajiv Hieralal, CEO of Apptastic. He knows that his team is now operating at an even higher level and this is only the beginning of the certification process.
